A Part of Speech

The site is meant to be a traffic of information and communication for those who love comics, like drawing
comics, wish to live with comics, and want to know much about comics, especially Indonesian comics.

As the Indonesian comics weaken, the movement of comics creativity is conducted underground which
actually means to publish comics independently. That's why it's called independent comics.

Many of these independent comic books are good enough and worth reading. Unfortunately few knows. It's for
this reason, here comes the site... created to publish the underground works of the Indonesian comic artists.

The label indicomic itself not only means indie-comics, that is, comics published independently,
but also Indonesian comics (komik Indonesia).

Despite lots of sites providing lots of things about comics, this site really adds something at any rate.
Something means that there are still many people who care about comics in this country.

So Ladies and Gentlemen, pals, folks and dudes, we are waiting for your contributions here, materially and
spiritually.

Some contents of the site are adapted from other sites. Please don't consider this piracy. It is just
one way of the other to spread out information, which eventually is expected to develop our own comics in
Indonesia. Apart from these adaptations, many are provided by contributors who celebrate the site with
their works.

Don't miss it, Folks! If you have something to publish, some independent comics you want to sell
online, just send us and we'll make it for you. Other materials can be sent via email regarding their
appropiate subject.

This site is designed using Adobe Photoshop for layouts and image editing, Adobe Image Ready to make
animated GIF, Macromedia Dreamweaver to edit HTML, Macromedia Flash for animation, Cute FTP and
BulletProof FTP to upload. CorelDraw for some parts of the vector design. Some programs are downloaded from
www.tucows.com.

This site was originally built in Focus Training Centre, Duta Mas Fatmawati, Jakarta, where I used to
teach. Then some updatings here and there at internet stands (warnet) in Bogor and Jakarta. Modified more at
Staria Music Indonesia. And finalized at my office, Lynx Film, in Kemang area.

No animal nor anybody was hurt during the process of constructing this site. Copyrights are not reserved,
well you know damn well some cyber world. Contents may be copied, duplicated or whatever you like.

Thanks to those parties who have given us hands, those who have contributed and those whose materials are
